Man Spotted Naruto Running Near Area 51 During Live News Coverage

We’ve all seen (and laughed) the viral “Storm Area 51” memes that just a few months ago began making rounds on the internet. And while most people shared a good laugh and a giggle at the funny images of the event, some had bigger plans. Plans including “storming” Area 51 or at least bringing all the individuals who shared comparable feelings together.

That’s how “Alienstock” came into being. Matty Roberts, a 21-year-old student from Bakersfield, California, who created the original Facebook event “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us,” worked with several colleagues to arrange an alien-themed music festival on September 19-22 in Rachel, Nevada.

As the live reporter described the preparations for the festival near Area 51, a man did the infamous Naruto-run right past him

As the meme attracted global attention, it was evident that the event had to be carefully watched. That’s why Channel 13 sent a live reporter to see the whole gig.
